ACTIVITIES
We meet at 1:00 PM on the same day as the Area Service Committee (ASC) meets and at the same location which is usually the first Sunday of the month. Our Area Service Committee meetings rotate between the groups. Go to the Home Page for the location of our next Area Service Committee and Subcommittee meetings.
Our Activities Subcommittee assists our home-groups in planning and organizing events and fundraisers as well as area functions. To be a part of the Northside Area Activities Subcommittee contact the Activities Chair by using the email link below. We do have fun in recovery. Attend one of our dances, workshops, picnics, or conventions.
There are no clean time requirements to be a member of the Activities Subcommittee and we have a lot of fun. There is plenty for everyone to do. Most importantly is that we have fun and follow the Traditions. Remember true spiritual principles are never in conflict. In the spirit of unity that all of the members, groups, areas, service committees, and trusted servants work together, not in competition, to carry the message of recovery to the new comer and to the addicts yet to arrive in the rooms of Narcotics Anonymous.
Thanks to all of you who helped with planning, preparation, food, set up, clean up (before and after), flowers, sweets, photos and t-shirt sales. Thanks to all of you who came and generously donated to our cause. Thanks to DJ Platypus for the fine music. Thanks to all who showed up, danced and took part in the activities and fellowship. THANKS TO ALL!!!!!!
The POWER OF LOVE Valentines Party and Dance was a huge success in terms of fun, fellowship and fund raising!!!! I really cannot say thank you enough for all of the participation by everyone in the area. So I’ll just say it one more time… MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!! What a shining example of the POWER OF LOVE that comes from our Higher Power and works through us in our fellowship!! I am smitten with love for this fellowship and for each of you!
